'Resurrected' on Easter 2006, the design and content of this site was originally that of Darryl Smith and was located on his Sympatico space.

The History of Norman's Cove/Long Cove and its unique geography are relevant still and the pictures (often used elsewhere) are great. However, some of the information on the people – including Businesses, Community Organizations and Recreational Activities - are dated (circa 2000) and will be updated as information becomes available and time allows.

Update: July 23, 2006

Due to the requirements of my new employ, I have been unable to make many updates recently. A special apology to Ida Newhook for not quickly returning the pictures she so graciously gave me to put on the site. I unexpectedly left town the day after receiving them and was unable to get home until now. Thanks for your patience, advice and the old NCLC pictures.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Newhook who were married on July 22, 2006. All the Best!
